CELEBRATORY NIGHT OUT

As I'm sure a few of you are aware, I have just finished my first set of university exams. This called for a big celebratory night out. This was the outfit I wore. I didn't want to go too dressy as the  place we went to wasn't really a formal place. and it was freeezing outside so I wanted to cover my legs. I bought this top a couple of days prior from Primark (so it should still be in store) for £10. It is a plain white, polyester top with this gorgeous statement piece attached at the top. Everyone knows how much I love statement necklaces which is why I love it.

I paired this outfit with just some simply black jeans from Newlook. The top is quite short (but not quite cropped) so I wore it with some high waisted jeans. For my clutch, I used this mint green bag from River Island. Although I love the design and it's really spacious, it's is only secured with one little buckle which after a couple of drinks isn't ideal if you are good at losing things (like me), as things can easily fall out. I didn't really accessorise much with this outfit as the piece at the top was a statement enough. Another good thing is that the piece is detachable which makes it easier to wash. I just wore this outfit with my purple pumps from Primark that I talked about in this outfit post here. Hope everyone has a lovely week.

NIGHT OUT

Bit of a different outfit post today as it is a night time outfit rather than a day time one. I have been good and not been going out as I am in the middle of my exams. However, I have failed my drinking-ban as my friend is coming to Bournemouth so I can't really say no to a night out! It's probably not the best idea when I have an exam three days after but I am treating myself early! This is the outfit which I will wear with some black wedges.

I got this red skater skirt for christmas and I absolutely love it. It is from Missguided and it is actually on sale at the moment online so take a look. I love the way it fits and how it synchs you in at the waist. I have been wanting a brightly coloured skater skirt for ages and this one is perfect. I wasn't sure what to pair it with but I went for this simple black crop top from Primark. As it is still winter I wanted to wear something that I wouldn't freeze to death in, so that's why I opted for a long sleeve top. Also, I am getting my legs and a bit of tummy out so I need to cover everything else up! I paired this outfit with my gold and black clutch bag from New Look. I love the shape of this bag and it is quite sturdy which I really like. I also love the lacey gold detailing which adds a statement to the full outfit
